Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God, given to reveal His perfect plan of salvation and His will for our lives.
We believe in one true God who has revealed Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The same God who created all things as Father, came down in flesh as the Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, and now dwells in His people as the Holy Spirit. We affirm that Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Godhead bodily and the only way of salvation.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through His virgin birth, sinless life, death on the Cross, and resurrection, He made the way for us to be reconciled to God. Each believer must repent, be baptized in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit as promised in Acts 2:38.
We believe in water baptism by immersion in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Biblical pattern. Baptism is an outward testimony of an inward change, showing our identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the new birth promised to all believers, which empowers us to live a holy life and prepares the Bride of Christ for His soon coming.
We believe that God wonderfully created each person as male or female, reflecting His image. We believe that marriage is ordained by God as the covenant union of one man and one woman. God has commanded that sexual intimacy is to be reserved for marriage, and we affirm that His design is good, holy, and unchanging.
We believe in living by every Word of God, seeking to follow His leadership in faith, conduct, worship, and service.
We believe in the soon return of our Lord Jesus Christ, who will gather His Bride to Himself and establish His eternal Kingdom.
At Cleveland Christian Academy, this Statement of Faith forms the foundation for all we teach and practice. Every subject is approached from a Biblical worldview, and our greatest desire is that students not only gain knowledge, but also grow in the grace and truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
